Introduction
– 11 million ADRD care partners provide care within a care network
– Care network coordination is often adhoc and unsupported
– Caregiver technology interventions show potential, but evidence is limited
Objective: Evaluate feasibility and usability of CareVirtue with ADRD care partner networks.
– 51 care networks in CA and WI used CareVirtue for 60 days and completed usability surveys
– Mixed methods approach that included both quantitative CareVirtue usage data and semi-structured interviews
Results
– Established the acceptability and feasibility of CareVirtue among ADRD care networks
– ‘Excellent’ usability: System Usability Score of 81.8 from caregivers
– Shows the importance of designing flexible, multicomponent interventions that allow care networks to tailor their engagement according to their need
